Week Seven, Copper has to go to the vet for his Florida State
Health Certificate; this was the hardest week for the Keyworth's.
The waiting was unbearable! Rachel and her family had invested
a lot of time to bond and socialize with their new puppy, even
though they had a 2.5 hour drive each time. We would play with
Copper until he was tired, and after a lot of hugs and kisses,
they would make the long drive home.
This
was the hardest week for Copper, too. He saw Rachel leaving,
and barked "Please
come back!"
Carol always made sure we all hugged and kissed
Copper and each other before they left. Such a special family!
Rachel
and Copper are really becoming a close team.
Copper
found the safest and most comfortable spot around.
Only one week to go, so the Keyworth's made the first possible
appointment after Copper received his Health Certificate to
bring him home.
